Bill Craver & “Belize”
What is so interesting about Missionary Bill Craver and Belize is that his roots go deep. His father took him there when Belize was a British territory in 1977. Bill’s father became a Belizean citizen in the mid-90’s. While taking a fishing boat to Belize in 1979, Bill found a New Testament Bible under a bunk where he was sleeping and the Word’s of Jesus transformed his life. Bill and his wife Kathy built two missionary campuses in Belize, one on the east coast and another on the western region of Belize.
DCI’s Belize mission trips are called “Extreme Trips.” They are three regions of the world mission trips. On a DCI extreme mission trip you start: (1) Starting point west of Cancun in a Mayan city, (2) Travel to the Belize Islands where you conduct evangelism with the DCI team, (3) You travel back to the Mayan Missionary base where the team aids Mayan children. Three days are spent in each location.
Go.... where you never thought you would. / Do.... what you never thought you could. / Be.... what you always knew you should.
Bill Craver is your guide, who has years of experience leading teams. In the past, if you were a fan of the TV program “The Amazing Race” or the show “Survivor,” your team trip can be customized to be as extreme as you wish.
Improving quality of life for people in need is the outcome of a DCI mission trip. Your group will be able to bond not only with each other, but with the Mayan people you serve.
The Maya Yucatan and Belize areas have long been recognized as spectacular tourist destinations. However, there are many areas of the Maya Yucatan where people live in extreme poverty. By partnering with DCI, your team is in a relationship with an organization that has been making an impact on the ground for 27 years. Some of the ministry opportunities you may be involved in are construction and repair of homes, outreach programs for Mayan Children, and supporting local ministries through service efforts. You are needed, come and help make a lasting difference in the Mayan World.
