The Mayan City where the DCI Missionary Campus is located is known as the “City of the Kings”. Because of this, they exchange the giving of presents on January 6th.
A Christmas Gift for Every Child
DCI has over 250 children in our VBS program. Many of these children will receive nothing during the Christmas season. The Mayan culture celebrates the birth of Christ and giving from December 24 through January 6. It is our desire to reach as many children with the love of Jesus. To take care of each child it will cost approximately $25 US dollars.
When you give towards these Mayan kids who live in harsh conditions, it gives us the tools to present the message of Jesus Christ throughout the city of Tizimin and the many surrounding villages. It will take an minimum $6,000 to take care of these needy children. Would you say yes to providing financial aid?

The Christmas Season for most of us is a holiday spent with family enjoying a feast of food. It’s that one time of the year when we get to have ten different side dishes and eight different desserts. Sadly, many spend this holiday alone. With the Christmas season approaching, many families, single mothers, and Mayan seniors have nothing. Thirty percent of the people in our area only get one meal a day, but at times not even that!
Throughout the Christmas season of North America, with the help of partners like you, our team is going to go door to door giving food. Each food basket is $25. It is our goal at the DCI Mission Base to provide every person in need the gift of a food basket.

If you have come and served at the DCI campus, you have had the opportunity to meet the Mayan staff. We have been conducting missions for over 31 years and have had some wonderful teams. But we have to say, our staff and ministry partners are incredible. They do not consider their service just a way to make income, but winning people to Jesus Christ is what they live for.
